JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a positive, flexible, and solution-focused mindset. You are self-assured with good self-awareness, easily collaborate with others, but can also work independently when required.

You should have a strong interest in the development of children and youth and want to work with us to enhance the quality and goal fulfillment of the operations. Personal suitability and social competence are highly valued.

The position involves working 30 hours per week at the youth center in Hagfors. Working hours are scheduled for afternoons and evenings. Weekend work may occur.

Your tasks will include:

Motivating, supporting, and helping visitors both socially and academically
Being active with visitors during breaks and leisure time and ensuring that planned activities are available.
Engaging in conversations and establishing relationships, as well as managing acute problem situations and resolving conflicts.
Working preventively and proactively.
Collaborating with other organizations.

You will have a professional demeanor that creates trust, safety, and reliable relationships with both youth, colleagues, and guardians. You need to have a high degree of flexibility and be very skilled at adapting your approach to the needs of the youth.

Qualifications

Youth leader training or other equivalent education/experience
Driver's license (B)
General computer skills
